About the Author
Welcome to my little corner of the internet, where I invite you to join me on a journey through the beautiful chaos of life in Oregon, the joys of family, and the adventures that make every day unique.
Here, I share my passion for storytelling, serving as a nurse, and the journey of traversing the older years of being a woman, all while embracing the laughter and spontaneity that keeps life vibrant.
As you explore my blog, you’ll find that despite chaos of life, there is a deep gratification to weathering every unexpected twist and turn.
Welcome!
My existence on this earth has been one big wild ride with several twists and turns while hanging on for dear life. I’d like to think that my journey has been this way since the day I was born. Who knows, but I’ll admit that life has thrown me some big whoppers, and I can’t help wondering if God forgot what my allotted number was for life circumstances and decided to throw a few extra ones my way.
Despite all my ups and downs, God is faithful, and I have learned a lot over the years about myself.
I have this amazing opportunity to share portions of my crazy life and hope that it offers encouragement and inspiration to whoever reads it.
Remember, your life is special and the journey you’re on is full of adventures. How you travel this trek will determine how much you learn and grow making your life worthy to experience.
“Life is a journey with problems to solve and lessons to learn but most of all, experiences to enjoy.”
Join me as I post stories about my life experiences and things that matter to me. At times I will throw in a short story just because I like to write and want to share them with you.
My blog can be thought provoking at times, but most of all, I hope it will bring a smile to your face and give you encouragement for whatever you may be experiencing.

You Say I Am Strong
Do you ever wonder if your enough? I do. With so many demands placed on me how can I measure up to be the woman that I was created to be. With the fast pace lifestyle of a job, a family, and all the other stuff I want to do, how can I keep it all together? My...
The Sisterhood
One day Mom and Dad left the house to run some errands leaving my sister and I alone. Denise had been sick for a few days and mom thought having our only television in her room temporarily would keep her occupied while being sequestered. It was Saturday morning and...
ANGER
When I was in junior high, seventh grade, one day I decided I was going to be an angry, mean person. What possessed me to do this still eludes me today. I think back about that morning when I stood in front of my bedroom mirror, my hands on my hips and I said to...
