Welcome!

LIFE! Now there’s a four-letter word for you.

My existence on this earth has been one big wild ride with several twists and turns while hanging on for dear life.  I’d like to think that my journey has been this way since the day I was born.  Who knows, but I’ll admit that life has thrown me some big whoppers, and I can’t help wondering if God forgot what my allotted number was for life circumstances and decided to throw a few extra ones my way.

Despite all my ups and downs, God is faithful, and I have learned a lot over the years about myself.

I have this amazing opportunity to share portions of my crazy life and hope that it offers encouragement and inspiration to whoever reads it.

Remember, your life is special and the journey you’re on is full of adventures.  How you travel this trek will determine how much you learn and grow making your life worthy to experience.

“Life is a journey with problems to solve and lessons to learn but most of all, experiences to enjoy.”

Join me as I post stories about my life experiences and things that matter to me. At times I will throw in a short story just because I like to write and want to share them with you.
My blog can be thought provoking at times, but most of all, I hope it will bring a smile to your face and give you encouragement for whatever you may be experiencing.

ANGER

ANGER

When I was in junior high, seventh grade, one day I decided I was going to be an angry, mean person.  What possessed me to do this still eludes me today.  I think back about that morning when I stood in front of my bedroom mirror, my hands on my hips and I said to...

The Blessing

The Blessing

I began watching a show that was made in Turkey.  When they started talking in Turkish, I thought to myself, “Great.  Subtitles.”  But after the first episode I was hooked.  In the series, the people are always giving blessings or asking to be blessed.  This pricked...
