Welcome!
LIFE! Now there’s a four-letter word for you.
My existence on this earth has been one big wild ride with several twists and turns while hanging on for dear life. I’d like to think that my journey has been this way since the day I was born. Who knows, but I’ll admit that life has thrown me some big whoppers, and I can’t help wondering if God forgot what my allotted number was for life circumstances and decided to throw a few extra ones my way.
Despite all my ups and downs, God is faithful, and I have learned a lot over the years about myself.
I have this amazing opportunity to share portions of my crazy life and hope that it offers encouragement and inspiration to whoever reads it.
Remember, your life is special and the journey you’re on is full of adventures. How you travel this trek will determine how much you learn and grow making your life worthy to experience.
“Life is a journey with problems to solve and lessons to learn but most of all, experiences to enjoy.”
Join me as I post stories about my life experiences and things that matter to me. At times I will throw in a short story just because I like to write and want to share them with you.
My blog can be thought provoking at times, but most of all, I hope it will bring a smile to your face and give you encouragement for whatever you may be experiencing.

The Calm in the Storm
The wind picked up causing Cindy’s hair to tickle her face. As she brushed her hair back with her gloved hand, she left a smug of dirt on her cheek. Cindy only had a few more areas in the flower bed to weed but the sky was getting dark and angry looking. Cindy...
One Man’s Death
The smell of bread lingered in the air as it cooled on the old wooden table in the middle of the stone home. Rolled up bed mats stored along the north wall and the fireplace housed embers now left unattended. The dirt floor was swept and ready for the family to...
