Welcome!
LIFE! Now there’s a four-letter word for you.
My existence on this earth has been one big wild ride with several twists and turns while hanging on for dear life. I’d like to think that my journey has been this way since the day I was born. Who knows, but I’ll admit that life has thrown me some big whoppers, and I can’t help wondering if God forgot what my allotted number was for life circumstances and decided to throw a few extra ones my way.
Despite all my ups and downs, God is faithful, and I have learned a lot over the years about myself.
I have this amazing opportunity to share portions of my crazy life and hope that it offers encouragement and inspiration to whoever reads it.
Remember, your life is special and the journey you’re on is full of adventures. How you travel this trek will determine how much you learn and grow making your life worthy to experience.
“Life is a journey with problems to solve and lessons to learn but most of all, experiences to enjoy.”
Join me as I post stories about my life experiences and things that matter to me. At times I will throw in a short story just because I like to write and want to share them with you.
My blog can be thought provoking at times, but most of all, I hope it will bring a smile to your face and give you encouragement for whatever you may be experiencing.

Through It All It Is Well
Today didn’t start good. Meaning, I had a hard time getting out of bed, but because of responsibilities I have and the need for a job to pay my bills I somehow found the umph to kick my feet over the edge of the bed and pull myself up out from under my warm...
Great Expectations
“Dad, please, can we spend the night in the treehouse?” My sister and I plastered on the cutest smiles we could muster up, you know, the precious facial expression a kid uses to try and sway someone. When we were kids my father built us a round octagon...
